Jewelry Redo Swap

I recently joined a very fun jewelry swap hosted by the very talented Lori Anderson.  Concept:  if you have a piece of jewelry that hasn't sold yet - pass it on to a fellow jewelry artisan and they use the components to make something new.....Fun right????  VERY!!!

My partner is Mallory Hoffman - she spoiled me!!!  I got two pieces - two beautiful necklaces.  Can I just say I felt a tad guilty (OK A LOT guilty) deconstructing her pieces - which were beautiful!  Take a look:

See I told you beautiful!  BUT in the spirit of the game :) - I jumped in and created LOTS of fun new pieces for my jewelry collection!!  It was easy to be inspired by the wonderful colors and textures of her components!

And I didn't stop there - I added coordinating pieces for a fun new set

AND.....I still have many adds and end left to make more beautiful pieces of jewelry!  How fun!!!

Thank you so much Lori for hosting this fun swap.

Mallory - a HUGE thank you to you for spoiling me with your beautiful creations....I love what they added to my collection!

Stacey, I love what you did! This was a really fun idea. You're right, you started off with some gorgeous beads & they must have been fun to work with! :-)

Stacey, you had some beauties to play with there(I too would have had trouble taking them apart) You really made good use of all those little treasures-nice job!

Way to go, Stacey! Isn't Mallory the sweetest? She is a delight (I met her last summer). I love the raw materials you had to work with. The orange color is drawing me in. I like the richness of the hues. And those blues and yellows look so springy to me... Very nice! Glad you could play along!
Enjoy the day!

It's very difficult to make the first cut on someone else's creation, isn't it?! Seems that everyone had some angst over that, but it was worth it! You did wondrous things with those beads, so colorful, and you showed them off to even better advantage. And so many ideas, truly fun, as you said!
