I love the look of stacked bracelets on a wrist.
It's fun, bold and confident.
They might tell a story...
little reminders from stops in life.
Maybe treasured gifts from special loved ones.
Or maybe it's just plain old indecisiveness.
Either way...
I LOVE THE LOOK!!!
So, of course, when I came across the challenge
a wonderful idea started by
I knew I had to jump on board.
Easy rules...
photograph a stack of bracelets.
They could be old favorites...
new ones created just for this challenge....
a minimum of three bracelets.
Like I said
EASY!
And FUN!!
I have to say when I think of stacked bracelets
I think of my sweet daughter
Miss Macey.
All through her senior year she had a
collection of bracelets layered on her wrist.
She showered in them...
she worked in them...
she slept in them.
I think you get the picture...
they were her signature look.
And we were lucky enough that that look
was forever captured by the wonderful photographer
Mona Kay
I love this photo...
it's so Macey.
Little treasures she couldn't bear to part with.
Becoming part of her.
it's so Macey.
Little treasures she couldn't bear to part with.
Becoming part of her.
Fun isn't it?
Sure I am a jewelry designer so I
could have photoed my own creations
but I just couldn't shake the need
to blog about my girl!!
I was going to leave at that
because it was enough for me.
BUT...
it might be a tough crowd.
So here are my creations as well.
Love this look...
a simple knotted pearl bracelet
a three strand emerald and Thai silver piece
and my go to bracelet a simple strand of
large hammered sterling silver links.

Those are great cool colors- perfect for hot summer weather!
I really like the emerald and silver also.
Love this color combo ( one of my favs!) and the display hand is to die for!!!
The image of Macey with her cool shirt and stacked bracelets says it all..so cool and fun and hip!
You additions were lovely too!
I'll admit that when I think of stacked bracelets I think of what would be on the arm of a young girl like your daughter. However, the one you created is quite elegant and would definitely adorn the arm of a well-dressed lady. It's lovely.
such a summery, beachy feel to this stack
A lovely stack! I would totally wear that. Soothing colors and perfect for summer. Great style! Thanks for playing along and sharing the pic of your daughter. cute!

I always love to hear from a proud mama. :) Macey's bracelets are awesome. I love your stack as well. The colors are great.
Hi there! I really like your bracelet combo! Your daughter's was cute too. Thanks for stopping by!
I'm loving your stack of bracelets! Very classy and stylish. I like that you knotted the pearls w/colorful cording - it's fun! And, I have to admit, I like your daughter's bracelets, too - love that look!!
Thanks for visiting my blog! I enjoyed reading the sweet story about and seeing the picture of your girl. And your creations are so lovely and classy.
Love the story about Macy. I was the girl who made those bracelets in school for my friends and guys to give to their girls (for a small fee of course). Each one had a story and I look back and remember how intense feelings were at that age. Thanks for sharing.
Love all of the bracelets, the ones on your Daughter's arm and the one that you created.
Therese
Beautiful post ... I can totally feel your connection to your daughter and her special bracelets. My daughter is a tomboyish 13 who rarely wears jewelry, so it will be her ever-growing hoodie collection and ripped jeans that I will treasure! The extra stack you created for the tough crowd? Gorgeous! =)
Love the photo of your daughter's stack. Shows how real and important bracelets can be to us. Love your stack of silver and turquoise. Great combo and fun and dressy too.
Display hand is sublime! I'm right there with you, I love that combo of bracelet too! Beautifully done
I love silver and turquoise together! And that shot of your daughter is great.
Beautiful post. I love your colors! So pretty and they look very summery! Thanks for sharing.
Simple neat and nice work...like the casual colour tone chosen by you also...and the stack is pretty comfortable unlike many.
I love that picture of your sweet daughter but more your comment about her jewelry becoming a part of her. So true! Little bits of our life piled up and carried around. That is what Marina meant with the 'tribal' part of her gypsy bangle tutorial that I loved so much. Thanks for sharing! Enjoy the day! Erin
Oh my, there's nothing better than a story to accompany a cool blog hop! Love it :) And that stack? Gorgeous! That green and pearls look is just lovely...

Great sets from another pearl and silver with a touch of color loving gal!!!
Your stack is very classic and could be worn with jeans or a nice dress. I love turquoise and silver together too - very good job! Great hand display too.
