Bead Soup loot that is!!!  This is my second round of Bead Soup because the first go around was such fun!  Lori Anderson hosts this amazing event - and puts a TON of work into - for us all to have a lot of fun!  So a HUGE thank you to Lori!
I mentioned earlier that my partner was Nadya Parfyonova of Nally's Creations.   I think I forgot to mention that she is from Russia...poor girl waited SOOOOO long (about 26 days) for the beads I picked to arrive (note to self when the post office says 6 - 10 days for a package to get to Russia remember to add about 16 days). I was feeling fall-ish when I selected her beads...thought this combination was very cool.  What do you think?

See - doesn't it remind you of fall?  Hope she has enough time to make something beautiful.  I can't wait to see what she comes up with.

She said her good friend made the absolutely FUN frog lampwork bead.  What a cute little guy!  I adore this color combination that she sent.  So fun....so beautiful....I can't wait to show you what I have created!  I had a lot of fun - tried some new things....please come back on the 17th for the big reveal!!

 I had such fun working on these.  I love that this particular customer gives me a basic color combination and and maybe asks for ribbon or brass or silver, etc....but she trusts me and gives me free creative range!  Love that.

Big West Art Festival...

...you ROCK!!!  If you are an artist and you are trying to figure out what shows to put on the books for next year...you should consider this one.  Especially if you are anywhere in the area...I repeat Big West Art Festival in Sheridan, Wyoming rocks!!!

Amazing volunteers, amazing music, amazing artists, amazing customers!!  This one has easily became my favorite show - ever!!  :)

I stressed a lot about getting my display just so....and I think it paid off.  I received a lot of positive from customers and fellow artists...yippee!!!

I learned a few things along the way...sweet little hairpins for little ones are a big seller...

 My tent is in fact not waterproof - pretty sure it is not even slightly water resistant.  Thank goodness the storm blew in during tear down.  My wooden chests and jewelry were already safely tucked away in the vehicle!!!

You can't really guess how a show will go....it just depends on the day, the year, the weather, etc...so I will just continue to always pray for the best and be thankful.

Always bring more than you think you will need...

If you think you have enough sunblock on - it's probably a good idea to put even more on!  :)

Festivals with music are a true treat!!

Spending time on all the little details...well it pays off..people do notice!!!

SO excited for my 2nd go at Lori Anderson's Bead Soup Blog Party!!!  I swear magic happens....truly stretches one as an artist...moves us outside our comfort zone but in a really good way!!

Partners have been picked and I am excited to be swap beads with Nadezhda Parfyonova of Nally's Creations.
